video: Billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya Believed Authoritarianism Only a Right-Wing Phenomena

We all have people that we respect, look up to, value their opinion. And remember, such beings are still human. Take the case of of Chamath Palihapitiya, the billionaire who investor who helped build Facebook, owner of a substantial amount of bitcoin, and is overall a very bright intelligent person, is demonstrates that we individually aren’t super computers and rather must specialize our knowledge and become experts in certain areas.
Watch this clip taken from the recent All-in Podcast where he is utterly shocked by the revelation that authoritarianism could possibly come from the left-hand side of the aisle.

Come on Chamath, the fact that the Soviet Union was left-wing authoritarian? China under Mao that killed something like 60 million Chinese, and continues today to persecute anyone who dares oppose the regime, and is in the midst of committing ethnic genocide on the Uhyghurs? How about Pol Pot and the murder of 1/3rd of the population of Cambodia.
The Cuban regime from where people still flee from daily? Every centralized control despotic Communistic regime that has ever existed.
Even the Nazi’s were a socialist movement.

Chamath coming to us and declaring his absolute shock and surprise that authoritarianism could possibly exist on the left-hand side of the aisle is like me coming to you and saying, “You won’t believe this, but if you leave water in really cold temperatures it becomes a solid. Isn’t that amazing! … I think I’ll cal it ice.”
“Guys, I left my black car out in Las Vegas in the summer for a few hours, touched it, and it burned my hand. It’s wild isn’t it?”

Look, I respect Chamath, but I was flabbergasted by his statements. And I bring it up, because if someone as bright as he is, could be totally unaware of this, then what about the rest of the nation suckling the propagandist teets of CNN, the NY Times, and the Democratic establishment?
The truth is that the modern day left has far more authoritarian tendencies than the right.
Who, today are pushing for conformity. Demanding men can be “women,” while telling us to follow the science. Who are the ones coercing everyone to take the vaccine, whether or not they have developed immunity from facing down the disease. Who is pushing for a top down Communistic government by beating people while calling everyone who disagrees with them fascists?

Who wants to take your hard work and redistribute it in the form of millions spent on spreading gender studies ideology in Pakistan? Who wants to indoctrinate your children with critical race theory and divide our culture further?
Once again, the fact it took this long for someone like Chamath to awaken to this possibility, is demonstrative of just how blinded the left is to their own indoctrination, and inability to examine their side of the aisle’s actions realistically. Most people on the right in America just want to be left alone and exercise their right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness as promised by the Declaration of Independence.
So, yes Chamath and all of you on the left who are watching, authoritarianism does exist on the left, and in fact is the greatest threat to our nation, and its continued cancerous march across the free world, only engenders right-wing authoritarian backlash to confront it.
