“Show me the incentives and I’ll tell you the results,” a quote attributable to the late Charlie Munger, investing partner of Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway.

In predicting how the world will develop/ being able to predict the future, an accurate of analysis of incentives/ de-incentives is needed.
So, when Democrats, before Trump took office tell you that’s it’s impossible to prevent border crossings, while they hand out cash, welfare, housing, and food stamps to people who they instruct to claim “asylum,” and “can’t understand” that merely taking away the freebies would lessen the flow, much less the added de-incentives provided by Donald, which dropped, contrary to their “honest assurances” that they were doing all they could, crossings by 90% already, you have an easy example of the principle.   

So given this backdrop, I want to talk about what I will call the Elon Sweepstakes in changing culture.
I’m sure for many of you, as I, Elon’s tweets as X’s owner are all over on your timeline. His Tweets get millions upon hundreds of millions of views, and sometimes he pushes out seemingly random content he enjoys that finds its way to him.
I have seen many videos that went viral because he retweeted them, gaining the original creators the much sought after commodities of attention and followers, which on X, can be converted to money.

This provides the incentive for creators to generate content, the style of which we will describe as “based,” knowing that in doing so they have generated a free lottery ticket, the prize being an Elon re-post, from which they will reap the aforementioned rewards, meaning that more liberty minded/ based content will be produced.
This of course includes cynical creators,  who are only in it for the money, who previously tried to game the algorithm that favored left-wing content.

What percentage extra based content will this lead to, and who will be influenced by it … well, it matters, but the definitive answer is much more than zero.

Bear in mind, these are similar principles that the CIA has used to generate color revolutions. Create a groundswell, real or fake, of opposition and hope that spreads throughout the citizens of the country, a low cost method to topple a regime. It’s why you saw the media playing George Floyd tape ad naseum and ignoring all the ensuing violence, even covering for it, You remember all the mostly peaceful riots.

I say I’m not certain this is the case . because … If i say it is a certainty, YouTube, still run by leftists, is likely to disfavor me, thus shading my expression via the incentives all creators know about.

Deep state leftists infiltrated the social media companies, and reigned supreme, until Elon dislodged them from Twitter, providing a more competitive environment for expression than previously.

And what Mr. Tony Stark Musk is doing is offering incentives in the form of a fairly lottery ticket, that will undoubtably change the hearts and minds of many people, which is, in what is sadly still a 50-50 country.
It’s very valuable to understand these set of incentives in predicting the future of our nation’s electorate, and how that ripples forward to the rest of humanity. God bless Mr. Musk, especially if saying so helps me win the Elon Lottery.
