“Elon Musk is a traitor to the West.” The crowd applauds. Then Scott Galloway brings up the Rosenbergs, the couple executed for passing atomic secrets to the Soviets, and says Musk should be “held to the same standards as every other traitor.”
What did Musk actually do? Starlink kept Ukraine’s military communicating when Russian jamming and missiles knocked everything else out. He refused to let a civilian product become an unrestricted offensive weapons platform, and when speed limits hit Ukrainian drones in October 2026, service was restored.
That’s the “treason.”
The same playbook was used on Charlie Kirk: Nazi, racist, homophobe. None of it had to be true, only useful. Now the target is Musk. When Trump said “fight like hell,” it was incitement. When a stage invokes the Rosenbergs and the crowd claps, it’s edgy commentary.
