They’re Coming For the Western World

by | October 30, 2026

“Empathy is a useful evolutionary tool until the off-switch breaks. Then it starts protecting the guy with the gun instead of the guy he just robbed.” A razor-sharp diagnosis of how misplaced compassion becomes civilizational self-destruction.

The West has decided the highest form of moral sophistication is to hold the door open for the people who want to burn the house down—then apologize for the smoke.

Empathy is a useful evolutionary tool until the off-switch breaks. Then it starts protecting the guy with the gun instead of the guy he just robbed. We don’t just feel bad for the robber. We rewrite the rules so he can come back and try again, then call anyone who objects a bigot. That’s not kindness. That’s the host culture volunteering to be the next meal.

We import people and practices that openly reject the rules that make the society worth living in, then treat any notice of the mismatch as the real crime. Cultural relativism is the solvent: every value system is equally valid except the one that produced the free society you’re currently standing in. Female genital mutilation, honor killings, polygamy, theocratic supremacy—those are just “different ways of knowing.”

But the West has sinned. By the literal definition: we missed the mark. We once had the confidence to say some practices are better than others. Sati: a wife burned alive on her husband’s funeral pyre. British officers were told, “This is our culture.” They replied, “That’s fine. Our culture is to shoot the people doing it.” Widows quickly became appreciative.

By what fucked-out moral calculation are those two cultures equal? Only the equations you’ll find in a woke studies department insulated from gravity and reality.

Now the confident ones call you a bigot and white supremacist for interfering with the smoldering flames and the widows’ screams.

Postmodernism and identity politics supply the language: truth is power, merit is oppression, and the only remaining absolute is that the host culture must be destroyed. The First Amendment gets drafted into the project. “We should kill the infidels,” they say from mosques in Dearborn. “That’s incitement.” “Freedom of religion,” they retort. “Oh right, carry on then.”

Please come in, my brother, and destroy my world. Free speech and free exercise become a one-way ratchet: the people who intend to use the open society to close it later are protected, while the people who point out the pattern are told they threaten the multiculturalism that has worked so well in Britain and France.

The same logic that once protected dissent now protects the early stages of a future orthodoxy. Wood crickets—Gad Saad’s term for people whose brains have been hijacked by the parasite—cheer the process. So progressive. So noble. So understanding. They treat the people who still want the society to continue as the actual problem.

These are lemmings leading the charge off the cliff, to the applause and gentle sneers of those benefiting from the destruction. None of this requires a secret cabal. It requires enough people trained by the schools and Netflix to treat pattern recognition as moral failure, and enough institutions insulated from the autocorrect of reality.

Universities manufacture the idea pathogens; media and bureaucracy distribute them; the public, trained to flinch at the first accusation of bigotry, stops applying ordinary cost-benefit analysis to immigration, crime, or speech. The result is civilizational suicide performed in the name of kindness. The gun held to our collective heads is real. The people holding it keep getting the benefit of the doubt. The ones bleeding are told to be more understanding. Don’t bleed, bigot.
