“Destroyed by Facts and Logic” Is Why We’re LOSING

by | November 1, 2026

“Calling out their hypocrisy goes nowhere — to them, principles are tools you pick up when useful and throw away when not. You’re playing one game while they’re keeping score on a completely different field.”

The right has a favorite hobby: catching the left being hypocrites. That means ME. That’s what I do.
Queers for Palestine. “Workers’ rights” plus open borders. “Trust the science,” unless the science is chromosomes. We clip it, caption it, post “DESTROYED by facts and logic,” and go to bed feeling like we won.

The left has a different hobby: winning. At least that is what to seems to be right now.

They own the platforms we post the clips on. They boycott any company that won’t recite the catechism. They drag dissenters through court, and when that’s too slow, they burn down a city and call it a protest. Then everyone acts shocked that their ideas keep getting less popular while their grip on every institution gets tighter.

What good is winning the online debate when a sitting senator brags about prosecuting young conservatives for working in the wrong administration?

When a Belgian politician gets jailed over memes in a private group chat? When a woman who survives the consequences of their immigration policy, and you know exactly what I mean, but she gets punished for complaining about it?
You think I am winning every time I point out the stupidity and inconsistencies? He;ll, no, I speak to an audience, kept small because they control the means of distribution.
I’m playing one game, they’re keeping score on a completely different field.

Here’s the playbook, and they wrote it down. Alinsky’s Rule 4: make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. The fine print: you DO NOT play by those rules.
The easiest way to stop anyone using your principles against you is to not have any. That’s why calling out their hypocrisy goes nowhere. To them, principles are tools you pick up when they’re useful and throw away when they’re not. Point out the contradiction and they don’t blush. They assume you’re running Rule 4 on them. They don’t care. These aren’t good people. They aren’t decent. The rules don’t matter to them, much less fairness. Only power.

They’ll even invent hypocrisy for you. “How can you be pro-life and support the death penalty?” A baby and a murderer aren’t the same thing, but the line is catchy, so they’ll repeat it forever, and you’ll waste years explaining.
They only care what weaken you. Lawfare: file the frivolous charge, drain your time and money, drop it. They did it Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, The process is the punishment.
Oh, don’t think I forgot about what they did to Trump. That wasn’t;t just the process. They were literally trying to imprison him.

Then there’s Rule 5: ridicule. Fascist. Racist. You Brown Shirt Nazi. It isn’t an argument, it’s a permission slip. They don’t punch you because you’re a fascist. They call you a fascist so they can punch you. Repeat it in every corner of the media until it sticks, until advertisers flee, until commentary dries up, until the activists become judges and legislators. Then they throw you in jail at will, while they let their allows go.
The whole slow march through the institutions was so they could eventually burn them down.

So how do we combat this?
Stop defending. Stop explaining yourself to people who want to destroy your way of life. You don’t owe them a rebuttal; you owe them nothing. Play offense. When a city burns in pursuit of a political goal, call it what it is: terrorism. Then the organizers and the platforms that enabled them have real legal exposure, the same weapon the left has been using for decades.

Fairness is optional. When your opponents realize they’re up against real force of will, they get demoralized and quit. The goal isn’t to feel righteous. The goal is to win.
Stop polishing your principles, while they’re burning down civilization. This is not gentleman’s debate. You’ll score a point, and their retort will be made with a flame thrower.
