Thank you Ted Wheeler, you are America’s savior.

Ted Wheeler might just seem like an ineffectual, cowardly, faux-woke mayor of Portland, Oregon. Sure he has coddled antifa, and allowed them to prosper in the city.

It is true that downtown Portland looks like a War Zone, with local business’s windows smashed in, looted, livelihoods destroyed, people out of work.
I grant you the fact that the local suburbs have been invaded by people shouting on bullhorns demanding that people get out of their homes and and join them.

Sure, federal officers were blinded by high powered lasers defending a multi million dollar taxpayer funded federal courthouse, and Wheeler blamed the riots and the nightly attempts to burn down the courthouse on the mere presence of the Feds.
Yes, for unhinged lunatics the presence of federal forces there to protect is reason for destruction, hatred, and craziness.

And yes, someone finally was killed in Portland last night, and Antifa/BLM celebrates as it s a conservative. Of course, they automatically label him a Nazi.

And yes Ted, all these people were sacrificed by you in the name of wokeness, in the name that you’re a terrible leader, possibly on the Chinese payroll using your position as the ultimate chief of police of the city and your orders to stand them down, meant to divide our nation.

And I weep for the unneeded sacrifices of these people. For the citizens of Portland who will were once proud of their beautiful city. For the business owner who worked his whole life who will never get back what he lost or re-open. For the growing animosity between people, for the man who needlessly lost his life due to your fecklessness.

And it might seem that I am condemning you, and to some degree that is true. But I also believe our nation owes you a thanks.

You, along with Jenny Durkan of Seattle, have allowed your cities to serve as a petry dish for what happens when we institute your horrific ineffective, unworkable ideas.
See what happens when you remove centralized law and order, and you get looting, murder, war lords stepping into the power vacuum and anarchy.

When you boil a frog you turn the heat up slowly. That’s the plan. Instead, in your zealousness to virtue signal, to show your wokeness, to be accepted by the mob that has rejected you, by repeatedly refusing to grant federal help because you feel the desire to demonstrate how much enmity for our President you have in your heart, your ambition to climb to the heights of leftward circles have helped lay bare the evil of the movement.

Rather than help boil America slowly, your desire to be the one to claim credit for turning up the heat has awakened the nervous system of the eagle you were trying to boil.
For this, and this alone, America owes you thanks for ineptitude and stupidity.

Portland is the canary in the coal mine, keeled over dead, and alarm bells all over America must be ringing lest we follow your city into the death spiral of the toxic hatred you have supported.

And if you are consumed, like Robspierre during the French Revolution, by the same poisonous ideology you allowed to fester, I assure you, not one tear will be shed, least of all to the hateful group you plead allegiance to who predictably their ire towards you.
