Saudi Arabia will sign a peace deal with Israel before the election.

Here are the reasons, and I say this as NO FAN of the Saudi monarchy which promotes its virulent Islam, and suppresses human rights of its citizenry, and disburses a portion of the nation’s oil wealth to its population to remain in power.

As you know, the United Arab Emirates now recognizes Israel’s existence after signing what was a historic peace deal. It was followed by the tiny gulf country of Bahrain.

Will Saudi Arabia be the next domino to fall in the region? If so why?

Now you might remember that the world came down on the Saudi monarchy after they murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

I’m not defending this brutality. If the monarchy were to disappear into a desert mirage few would be sad.

That said, what happened following the murder. Trump, at great expense to his personal reputation did not come down hard on the monarchy as, frankly, the whole world wanted. It came at a cost to his political capital and reputation.

It is possible he could have the defecto King, Muohammed Bin Salman, deposed.

Now, with the UAE signing the peace accord, and Bahrain as well, Trump can leverage his his big favor.

And let’s look at it from a Saudi standpoint.

With Trump they have someone who didn’t come down on them with a ton of bricks when they assassinated someone, with abundant proof.

Do they want to roll the dice on Biden and Harris, who really is the candidate, and the woke ideologues behind her. Do you think they’d rather deal with someone who didn’t spank their guilty asses once?

Also, there is such a thing as reciprocity. Even if they didn’t want Trump to be elected, it’s looking increasingly likely that he will be. Do you think that Trump will do them any special favors if they don’t give him something?

Have you ever been the first person on the dance floor? Breaking through the ice is usually the hardest thing. The united Arab emirates, and then brain signed on, Saudi Arabia will catch much less flack from people adverse to normalizing relations than if they were the first ones to do so.

And thus, a big domino in the road to Middle East will topple, before November.

And maybe trump will be nominated for the Nobel peace prize for a third time, and the Atlantic, which just ran a piece that the Nobel peace prize should be canceled, can just go absolutely bat shit crazy, and maybe set fire to us on printing press so we don’t have to hear from them again.
