Why Left Wing Activists Are So Unattractive

by | March 3, 2025

The unhealthier they are, the more they resent the fit; the more they rely on others, the louder they demand it as a right. Down they go, clutching their ideology like a life raft, doubling down on the same ideas that sank them in the first place.

Why are left-wingers almost universally unattractive? If so, is there an explanation from this tremendously strong correlation?

I’m not trying to be cruel—just pointing out something that’s strikingly obvious to even a casual observer. It’s worth asking why.

Take it back to high school, do you think the pretty popular girl generally want rapid change, or what about the team’s quarterback that was born strong and a leader.
Humans are competitive by nature—over resources, attention, mating opportunities—and those at the top of social hierarchies rarely push for drastic upheaval. Why would they?

This is why there’s a strong case that many Wall Street firms, after scoring massive government bailouts in 2008 when they should have collapsed, made a deal: they embraced the far left’s DEI and trans agendas. In doing so, they kept running their profit machines without the friction they were facing from the Occupy Wall Street Movement.

The twist? Enough of their employees bought into the Kool-Aid—originally just a PR stunt—that it turned into a real issue. Still, none of the head honchos signed up for genuine change; they only signed up to pay lip service to social justice.

Progressives, by definition, seek change, and those on the far left crave drastic upheaval—often because of dissatisfaction with their own lives.
These are typically people who band together at the bottom of the social hierarchy, aiming to flip the game board entirely, hoping to topple those at the top in one swift move rather than grinding to earn their own spot. History shows this approach has produced stunning outcomes wherever it’s been tried—from the French Revolution devouring itself to the disasters of 20th-century communism.

But the ‘useful idiots’ who join these causes are usually desperate, feeling they’ve got nothing to lose. In the U.S., this is often—though not always—tied to poor choices they’ve made along life’s road.

Such actions have lead to amazing results where they’ve been tried, from the French Revolution eating itself, to 20th Century Communism.

But the ‘useful idiots’ who join these causes are usually desperate, feeling they’ve got nothing to lose. In the U.S., this is often tied to poor choices they’ve made along life’s road.

Leftists mask their resentment, unhappiness, and often pathological envy by latching onto causes, peddled by political elites, who play these desperate NPC souls, like a sorcerer manipulating shadows, selling them a grander narrative and meaning that is OUTSIDE THEMSELVES.

In exchange for the dopamine hit of momentary significance and the sense of camaraderie gained by collectively advocating for the latest astroturfed issue— like BLM, trans children, or overhyped nonsense like climate change (“How dare you!”), they are able to ignore the tangible problems within their personal control—like health, diet, or showing up to work—because those require actual effort, accountability, and dedication.
They’d rather vent their outrage and bask in fleeting feelings of significance, pretending their lives gain meaning through grand crusades, than address what they can actually control and fix. As Jordan Peterson would advise, “Clean your own room first.”

It’s like Pinocchio’s journey to Pleasure Island—a quick descent into becoming a donkey, NPC’s unwittingly hauling the coaches of power for the elites masterfully pulling the reins.
And of course, like turning into a donkey might be noticeable, such actions are reflected in their outward appearance.

Take a look at how many leftist activists cover themselves in tattoos and piercings—a gallery of ink and metal. They’re a walking graffiti exhibit.
It’s not just rebellion or self-expression; it’s a mirror of the chaos and dissatisfaction festering inside.
Each needle prick and stud becomes a badge of their inner turmoil, a way to broadcast their rejection of the world as it stands, without ever facing it head-on.
Why bother working out or building something concrete when you can just decorate the surface and call it depth? And frankly, it’s our responsibility as human beings to recognize that the outward manifestation of their inner turmoil as, … unhealthy and unattractive.
Furthermore, as I mentioned people many people who stumbled in life have made less than stellar decisions. Maybe they ate too much and got fat, they had kids as teens, got hooked on drugs, or ran up a 100k in debt majoring in gender studies at Oberlin College.

Whatever the case is, for those who wallow in their errors, it will begin to show on their faces, in their choice of clothing, their grooming. How they feel internally manifests outwardly.

And it is much easier to blame everyone for their mistakes, and as self-proclaimed victims they demand everyone else—society, the government, the ‘system’—to do the heavy lifting for them, to fix the world they rail against.
So why sweat at the gym or be disciplined with your eating, when you can pierce your nose, tattoo your grievances, and turn yourself into a roller pig (photo of super fat woman in wheel chair) to show your disapproval of your life and society, while demanding big nanny government free you from your troubles.
It’s a costume of defiance that demands no real sacrifice, just another shadow dance in their endless quest for meaning without effort.”

And the fact is, if you’re someone that believes in hard work, and that you can do things for yourself, then being a associated with collectivists is not in your DNA.
These are people who believe it’s greedy to want to keep the money you earn, but not greedy to attempt to take it from you.
The same applies to the can do, disciplined action of going to the gym, and eating right. They would naturally want that, but in the classic vampiric leftist mindset, would rather find a way to take it from you than do the work themselves. And it shows outwardly!
Effort is for the suckers, the ones chasing the carrots dangled by a system they claim to despise. Instead, they let themselves go, piling on the pounds and the health problems that come with it—diabetes, fatigue, a general schlump of existence.
It’s not entirely their fault, though; it’s the logical outcome of a worldview that says someone else will always pick up the slack. The government, the rich, the “privileged”—someone’s always there to foot the bill or fight the fight, right? So why bother getting off the couch?

That’s the kicker: they assume the work will just get done for them. It’s baked into the ideology—redistribute the wealth, the health, the success of others, and they’ll never have to lift a finger.
And here’s where it gets ugly: the worse it gets, the more left-wing they become. It’s a feedback loop of failure and fury. The unhealthier they are, the more they resent the fit; the more they rely on others, the louder they demand it as a right. Down they go, clutching their ideology like a life raft, doubling down on the same ideas that sank them in the first place.

So maybe it’s not just that they’re unattractive on the outside—though the tattoos, the unkempt hair, the extra weight don’t help. It’s that the whole package, inside and out, reflects a rejection of the discipline and drive that tends to make people appealing. They’ve traded ambition for resentment, effort for entitlement, and then wonder why the mirror’s so unkind.

But I want the best for them, if for no other reason than when people are successful and happy the world and my family are better off. I know that is difficult when you’re in a rut, and spiraling downwards. Even if you’re as far gone as Antifa, I want to show you there is light. I actually care about you, minus the piercings and tattoos … because you are a fellow human being.

But there is no quick fix, no magic pill you can pop . yeah Ozempic has side effects and long term costs that will show up later…
Whatever life throws at you, no matter how harsh, you have to take personal responsibility. At least this way, your mind starts searching for solutions, far more than if you believe yourself a victim.
It is a great journey out of the dark canyon, but it starts with one step, and then another always keeping your focus on your destination, which to start with, can be as small as running around the block, as started David Goggins.
Improve your life a little bit every day, and in a year, it will start to compound and you will be far further along than you dreamed you could be. It’s not only Tony Robbins, Jordan Peterson, it’s TAKING ACTION.

Even Antifa members can rise from the pits of despair when they take responsibility for where they are and chart a course out, and as discipline takes over, as they take the simple step to clean their rooms, their thoughts and patterns of behavior begin to change, they’ll actually start to look better as well … But, can you do us all one little favor first, and remove the piercings from your face. Thank you for your attention.
