I believe that the first amendment is perhaps the most important on the list of Bill of Rights that we have. Granted, the second amendment is there to enforce the first amendment, but having personally been in countries where people are unwilling to speak their minds, to criticize their rulers or even the ruling class for fear of major repercussions, I am incredibly grateful for the constitutional bill of rights which are founders created.

They are truly the Giants on whose shoulders we stand.

I am an ardent defender of the first amendment. If you want to protest for an organization I disagree with, like Black Lives Matter which has stated in the past that they want to disrupt the nuclear family, and are known Marxist, then that is your right to do so.
I’ll support your right to peaceably assemble en masse in Los Angeles, much as Mayor Garcetti has, and with vigor. Note, underline the word peaceably. If you riot, if you loot, if you graffiti or infringe on someone else’s rights that is no longer “peaceful.”

So when members of your assembly try to burn down a Federal Courthouse in Portland, or shine blinding literally laser beams into the eyes of federal officers, and you protect them in anyway, you’re no longer exercising your first amendment rights, but rather rioting.

Nevertheless, no matter how brilliant your cause, or how stupid, the first amendment grants you your right to demonstrate and I will support you in doing so.

But for Mayor Garcetti to announce if you are caught holding a get together, a party in your own private residence, that he will cut off your water and power is a draconian measure out of an authoritarian playbook.

The left of our country is punching holes in the first amendment with as much regularity as they can. This sacred parchment is being used as target practice for leftists, who swear that they will protect your right to speak so long as you agree with everything that they believe.

Go contrary to the thought police, and be canceled.

The first amendment is specifically to protect speech that others find disagreeable. It is via the first amendment that we are able to settle our differences peaceably, rather than with violence.

Yet mayors in our largest cities are protecting one form of free speech over another, preferential treatment under the law, something that was once used during the segregationist era, has been intentionally been breathed back into life.
But here’s a workaround- whenever you hold a party, just have a Black Lives Matter poster in the background as you sip wine and dance to music, because then and only then will it be approved by Bill DeBlasio or Mayor Garcetti of Los Angeles.
There’s absolutely no excuse for this. During any oath of public office, you are asked to uphold the Constitution of United States. These men are not so stupid not to know what they are doing. But they don’t care, these are not honorable people, they are evil. Do you want to make the excuse that the first amendment should be cast aside because of some unknown health emergency, the constitution is not suspended because of your idiotic judgment.
Bill DeBlasio in New York did not even go to the city permitting office to paint Black Lives Matter in front of Trump Tower, he skipped it entirely. It was money that was stolen from New York taxpayers who paid for this political message, for a Marxist organization, due to the corrupt mayor desiring to spread his own personal ideology.

To suspend the first amendment, the right to worship for religious groups, but physically join in protests of another?

You are arresting owners of gyms in New Jersey that want to keep your businesses open, while you release convicted felons from prison and commute sentences of murderers as Gavin Newsom is doing in California.

How does this make any sense? What world are we living in?

The problem is, according to the left doesn’t have to make sense, there doesn’t have to be logic involved, the only thing that matters to them truly is power.
Intentionally trying to burn down Federal court houses, they’ll call them protests rather than riots, the New York Times and Washington Post reporting on shakedowns of Louisville businesses, mafia like tactics by Black Lives Matter, that’s not important enough to make their papers, but false framing of trumps statements certainly do.
Anything to regain power. And when they do, Mark my words, they’ll do all they can to bring a1984 dystopian future into being. You can already check on Twitter and find that people are arguing that 2+2 = 5. That’s directly out of 1984, George Orwells masterpiece which the left seems to be using as a playbook.
Change history so that we can deny something ever existed, what do you think the 1619 project is, full of lies and false hoods. Question: would  any of you out there be surprised if China bribed the committee to give the essay a Pulitzer as an effort to sow discord within America’s borders, giving perceived value to utter lies and hatred of the greatest country in the world.

OK, so what’s the solution to all this?
Number one, have peaceful protests for our civil rights. To protect them.

But of course, because we’re not using violence as a coercion tactic like the left does, and if we did the main stream media would not run cover for us, the only thing we really can do is make sure to vote come November and vote these evil doers out of office. They aren’t even clowns, because they know what they’re doing. I don’t think Gracetti’s a stupid man, these violations of our first amendment are egregious and intentional, and these men must lose their position of power. Vote red across-the-board. I say that as someone who’s voted red one time in his life for Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don’t understand how people could possibly see the hypocrisy of favoring one form of speech over another and be OK with it. If you do then you are succumbing to ideology.

And if that’s the case, and you’ve made it this far, snap out of it and see reality for what it is. There’s no logical, or even moral, justification for it.
